The older man dressed sort of like a cowboy with a pirate hat (top left) is Winston. Lynn (top right) is the girl with pink hair and goggles. In the game, players would shoot alien creatures with bullets and missiles.

There was also a melee character called with a double-edged blade and a heavy set character called Torque who carried a glowing object on his back. Plans were to make it a shield that doubles as a weapon for Torque to throw.

Project Dropship was in development for quite some time, but Square Enix’s decision to cancel the game was recent. In fact, it happened this month. Originally, Project Dropship was going to be released for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
