The latest Resident Evil 2 trailer is designed to remind people of the past. When Resident Evil 2 was first released in 1998, Capcom called upon George A. Romero, of Night of the Living Dead fame, to film a 30 second commercial in Tokyo for the PlayStation game. Now to celebrate the upcoming launch, a new Resident Evil 2 live-action trailer has been released to celebrate the reimagining’s debut.
Unlike the original Romero trailer, this one is longer and more elaborate. However, it still stars Leon and Claire at the Raccoon City Police Department and calls to mind moments people will see in the actual game.
Here is the new Resident Evil 2 live-action trailer.
For those who want to see how it compares to the original, here is that 30-second spot.
Resident Evil 2 will come to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 25, 2019.
