The Second Detective Pikachu Trailer Shares Pikachu’s Origin Story And Shows Off Ludicolo And Snorlax

When Ryan Reynolds released a comedic video showing how he got into character for Detective Pikachu on February 26, 2019, he noted that a new movie trailer would appear on February 27, 2019. Now that has appeared, and it showcases more of the story and a number of new Pokemon depictions. For example, we get to see what Flareon and Ludicolo look like in the movie.

 

This new Detective Pikachu trailer begins by showing how Pikachu ended up with Harry Goodman’s hat and amnesia. It then looks at the investigation he is embarking on with Tim. Along the way, we get to see even more realistic renditions of Aipom, Flareon, Growlithe, Ludicolo, Machamp, Snorlax, and Snubbull.
