Almost a year after pre-registration began, we finally have a PS5, PC, and mobile release date for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin game based on the manga and anime. In some cases, it is almost exactly a month away. The PS5 and PC versions will launch on March 16, 2026. Then a week later, it will be on Android and iOS devices on March 23, 2026. This follows a November 2025 closed beta.
In The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, we follow a Tristan Liones, the son of Meliodas and Elizabeth from the original series, as he comes into his own to gather a group of individuals to protect Britannia and face evil. While we’re previously familiar with him from his role in The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, this helps better establish who he is after The Book of Stars chooses him and he sets out on a journey with Tioreh. This means if you’re familiar with the sequel series, you should have an idea of who might end up showing up as playable characters.
Pre-registration bonuses are still in effect, with different items available based on how you sign up. If someone wishlists the game on the PS5 or PC or goes through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, they get a free copy of Tioreh, three Supreme Hero Upgrade Materials, 10 Draw Tickets for the gacha, and 10 Healing Dishes. If you also sign up at the official site and provide your email, you get the Skyborne Gale Dual Swords weapon that Tristan could equip, 10 Weapon Upgrade Materials, and 100,000 Gold.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin PS5 and PC release date is March 16, 2026, and the mobile version debuts on March 23, 2026. The manga is handled by Kodansha, and the anime is streaming on Netflix.
