Steel Commander gives you and a friend a fleet of ships plus a submarine. The goal is to explore the hexagon grid using your submarine’s sonar. When you spot a ship you pop out in periscope mode and literally turn around to shoot the ship. Steel Diver uses the Nintendo 3DS’ gyroscopic sensors for aiming.
Steel Commander mode supports download play so you only need one cartridge for two Nintendo 3DS systems. Steel Diver comes out on March 17 in Japan and March 27 in North America.
