Designed by Guilty Gear makers Arc System Works, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena lets players juggle an opponent with Agidyne. Atlus shared demos of what the glasses wearing heroes from Persona 4 can do.
Each character has two videos. One shows the character in standard mode and the other is after an awakening. As explained on Siliconera earlier, an awakening is a status that is automatically triggered after you lose a certain amount of life. After a cut-in of your character’s face, the awakening expands the SP meter to 150 (you usually have 100) and unlocks your ultimate attack.
Yu can launch an opponent in mid-air and strike with Ziodyne.
Awakened Yu can finish his opponent off with a cross slash.
Yukiko can catch the other player in a fiery tornado.
With her SP maxed out, Awakened Yukiko can chain fire spells.
Chie can chain kicks with God Hand.
Agneyastra, Chie’s ultimate attack, can be triggered in mid-air.
Like Chie, Kanji is a physical character, but he uses a folding chair instead of his fists.
Kanji jumps right into his ultimate technique.
Yosuke is an impressive mid-air fighter. You can control him after he casts Garudyne too.
Yousuke’s ultimate move is different from the other characters. He can cast Sukukaja (seen at the beginning of the combo), which gives him a speed burst.
