The Way Shining Ark’s One-Winged Angel Acts Depends On Her Mood

Before we get to Panis, here are two new characters in Shining Ark. Adam, the robot-like guardian of the island, and Kilmaria, an exorcist who believes Panis (the one-winged angel) is a demon.

Adam is a a stone monument when Shining Ark begins. He suddenly comes to life when Freed and Panis walk by. Adam calls Freed his master and you can control him in battle. Kilmaria studies ancient civilizations and came to Freed’s island to eliminate the black winged "devil."

Panis is the central character in Shining Ark, but you can’t actually control her. The way Panis acts is entirely dependant on her mood and relationship with Freed. If you strengthen your bond with Panis you can give her instructions on what to do. On the field, Panis can find items. You can also give Panis items, like bread, to change how she feels. An icon in the upper right hand corner lets you know if she’s happy or aggravated. Firing Panis up isn’t necessarily bad that makes her more likely to attack enemies in battle. A happy Panis is more likely to heal party members in battle. Panis can also sing songs that buff the group or charm townsfolk to give her items.

Ever since Panis showed up there are different giants like Nephilim that players have to fight.
