The Weapons Final Fantasy Type-0’s Two Stars Wield

V-Jump has a little preview on Final Fantasy Type-0 where they reveal the full names of the two lead characters Machina and Rem. Or perhaps I should say Machina Kunagiri and Rem Tokimiya. Those are their full names.

Machina, according to V-Jump reports, wields a Volt Rapier, which is a drill-like sword. Rem fights using daggers in both hands. That doesn’t surprise us since screenshots released earlier revealed that already tidbit.

Cid Oldstein sparks an all out war when he breaks a treaty signed between the four nations. His goal is to acquire all four of the crystals in the world. Machina, Rem, and other students in the Suzuku magic academy set out to defend their crystal. While Final Fantasy Type-0 has a ton of playable characters, Machina and Rem are said to be the main protagonists in the PSP game.

Final Fantasy Type-0 is due in stores this summer in Japan.
