Australian studio House House has revealed that it’s bringing Push Me Pull You to PlayStation 4 in 2016.
“Push Me Pull You is a lovely and horrible two-on-two sports game that’s all about cooperation, because you are literally joined to your partner,” writes the studio.
The idea is to score goals with a ball just like in soccer. But you can’t kick the ball as you don’t have legs nor can you pick it up. The only other option is to push it around (or wrap around it) with your stretchy shared body. You and a partner will need to co-ordinate your movements.
There’s another mode that resembles sumo wrestling in which you have to push your opponent out of a ring. You’ll also be able to create the look of your character as well as play with toys and the game’s physics in a playground space between matches.
While you’ll need between two to four people to play Push Me Pull You, House House has made it so that the game can be played with between one to four controllers, just in case you don’t have enough.
