Warner Bros. is releasing The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for PC and Xbox 360 on April 17. In The Witcher 2 you play as Geralt of Rivia, a genetically enhanced monster hunter who gets caught up in the political turmoil in the Kingdom of Temeria. He is given orders to squash a rebellion when an assassin kills King Foltest. The Northern Kingdoms begin preparations for war, while a regicide conspiracy lingers. CD Projekt Red added three hours of additional content with new story and gameplay elements to the console version.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be released in two retail packages.The Enhanced Edition includes the game, a soundtrack CD, world map, and quest handbook. The Dark Edition includes all of those items plus a making of DVD, Witcher medallion, and hardcover artbook, and stickers packed in a Dark Edition box.
