This article is over 3 years old and may contain outdated information

A much-anticipated figure is one step closer to being released. As part of WonHobby 32 teasers, Good Smile Company revealed how the Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition Melia Antiqua figure looks. The figure still isn’t available to purchase yet, but now the painted prototype is here.

As a reminder, this is a 1/7th scale figure of Xenoblade Chronicles’ Melia. It’s also inspired by her appearance in the new epilogue added in the Nintendo Switch’s Definitive Edition, Future Connected. This means her face looks different and she’s wielding World Ender. As this is only a painted prototype and a teaser, only a single photograph appeared.

This means we’ve had an opportunity to see this take on Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition’s Melia come together over a year. She was announced back in May 2020. At that point, there was only a piece of art hinting at her appearance and we had no idea what the pose would look like. It was only months later, in October 2020, that an unpainted prototype appeared. That gave us a chance to see what her pose would look like. It also offered a sense of how much detail we would be able to expect.

Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition is available for the Nintendo Switch, and the Melia figure is currently in development. WonHobby 32 will begin on February 11, 2021.
