Theatrhythm Final Fantasy sold fairly well, especially in Japan where the game was out of stock shortly after its launch. The music game also got a costly iOS port with even more songs and characters.

What’s next for Theatrhythm? It looks like Square Enix is planning something since the publisher filed a trademark for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call in the USA.

A "curtain call" is a stage term for when the cast comes back for one final bow, so our guess is a re-release with extra content. Even the 3DS version Theatrhythm Final Fantasy has a ton of songs that were only available as DLC including a song from Final Fantasy Versus XIII aka Final Fantasy XV.
