There Will Be No Sony E3 2019 Presence

People looking forward to Sony E3 2019 news will be disappointed. It has been confirmed that the company will not be at the convention next year. This means it will not hold a press conference or have a booth at the event.

The reveal was brought up in an Entertainment Software Association press release about E3 2019, then confirmed by a statement Sony made to Game Informer. Instead, the Sony representative said that the company will look for other avenues to connect with fans and deliver news.

This is not the first public event Sony has canceled. Back in September 2018, the company confirmed there would be no PlayStation Experience 2018. The PlayStation Experiences in North America ran from 2014 until 2017. However, the South East Asia 2018 experience was held as usual.
