Neos Corporation and Yahoo Japan have launched a free browser game based on Mighty No. 9. You can play it right here. According to SankeiBiz, it has the approval of Mighty No. 9 developer Comcept.

It can be played with a mouse, a controller, and it should also work on a mobile device. All you have to do is instruct Beck when to jump as he faces off against a series of increasingly difficult bosses as he shoots automatically.

Why do you need to jump? Well, each boss has their ownunique projectile attack that you’ll have to dodge. As you progress, the jump needs to be more and more precise in order to avoid taking damage – you can only take three hits. Plus, some of the bosses float in the air, meaning you need to jump to hit them with Beck’s arm cannon.

While this browser game won’t make up for the recently announced delay for Mighty No. 9, it’s something, at least. Get what you can out of it.
