All of the PsOne imports coming tomorrow like Art Camion Sugorokuen and Zanac X Zanac are straight from Gung Ho Online Entertainment America. We confirmed with the US division today and it’s interesting because Gung Ho Online Entertainment Japan has a bunch of quirky games that were never released outside of Japan.
Here are some games Gung Ho Online America *could* release on PlayStation Network:
Killer Bass is a wacky fishing game where you catch a fish that eats children. It’s kind of like Jaws with a bass that’s set in Japan. A lot of the text is in English, so it looks pretty import friendly.
Dragon Money is a board game meets RPG mashup.
Le Concert Fortissimo & Le Concert Pianissimo are rhythm games where you lead an orchestra. These games have classical music like "Eine Klein Nachtmusik" and "The Marriage of Figaro."
Fireworks Fantast has players set of fireworks at theme park. Believe it or not, this came out before Fantavision.
Gung Ho Online Entertainment also has the rights to Black/Matrix series which comes from Summon Night developer Flight Plan and Tomba! 2: The Evil Swine Return. I’d say Black/Matrix is unlikely since it’s so text heavy just like a bunch of Gung Ho’s other games like First Queen IV. However, the Lunar games from Game Arts have been translated. Perhaps, we’ll see those one day.
