Best Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Copy Abilities for Facing a Single Enemy

Your mileage may vary on this, which is true for any of the abilities on this list. I’d say going with Beam or Spear could really help you out. Beam is good in the traditional sense, as the moveset in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe offers a lot of diversity! There’s a standard electric whip, you can “capture” an enemy with energy and toss it, and there are different sorts of beam blasts. However, the Spear is also great for the wealth of options. You have both short and long range attacks with it, and it’s easy to assault an enemy no matter which direction they’re coming from.

Best Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Copy Abilities for AOE Damage

This one is probably debatable, but I’d say it comes down to either Leaf or Tornado. With Leaf, you have a greater degree of control, and you can basically create a little tornado of leaves to devastate anyone who comes close. You can also quickly hide in a leaf pile if you’re in any real danger. With Tornado, you get possibly a bit more power or mobility, but it’s also much more difficult to control and you could find yourself in a bit of trouble when the windstorm comes to an end.

Best Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Copy Abilities for Dealing With Obstacles

There are basically three critical Copy Abilities to help you get past certain challenges in this entry. One is Sword, which you can use to cut ropes and break blocks. It’s great! (Cutter can also help with some of these situations.) Another is Fire, which is handy as you’ll inevitably happen upon cannons with fuses that need lighting. Finally, there’s Hammer, which is perfect for hammering stakes to trigger certain reactions or bust through blocks that might not be destroyed by Sword.

Oh, and you might need Whip to pull some items past obstacles sometimes. But really, Sword, Fire, and Hammer are better.

Best Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Copy Ability When You’re Underwater

It’s Sword. It is always going to be Sword. Some Copy Abilities don’t even function when you’re underwater in a Kirby game, and this is a reliable staple.

Best Limited-Use Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe Copy Ability

It’s going to be the Mike. First, because you can actually use it three times unlike ones like Crash or Festival, which are single-use affairs. There’s also something so charming about Kirby getting all serious about performing… except he’s such a terrible singer that anyone in range to hear him basically dies as a result. Poor Kirby.

Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe is available for the Nintendo Switch. A demo is available.
