Dungeons are dangerous places filled with monsters (120 in the case of Wizardy: Labyrinth of Lost Souls) and traps. While they aren’t tanks, the Thief class have handy survival skills. They can pick locks, discover hidden doors, and disarm traps. These shady characters have one sneaky damage dealing move too – Back Stab lets thieves leap out of the shadows to strike an enemy and steal gold at the same time.
Fighters are there to take hits, but also have a focus move. Trick Attack costs one turn, but makes Fighters pummel enemies with random hits in the next. Mages also have a turn delaying attack, but for spells instead of swords. Priests can kill undead enemies instantly with Exorcism.
You’ll need a mix of classes and races to complete Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls when Xseed releases it on PlayStation Network this spring.
