Cube Tactics from Peakvox looks like a strategy RPG, but it’s more like a real time strategy game. Cubes are like modular base parts and players drop cubes to build a base. You start with core cubes and you can build a path to the enemy base by dropping land cubes. Or place bear traps to stop approaching enemy units or start an army of yours by placing towns.
If you place four structures next to each other in a giant square you can upgrade a building and make stronger units like the Highlander. The video shows basic units like the archer, knight, healer, witch, samurai, carpenter, and ninja. Altogether, there are 24 types of cubes and the goal of the game is to crush the other players who are also building bases.
Cube Tactics is available now for Nintendo 3DS via the eShop. At one time, Peakvox worked with NIS America on the WiiWare game Viral Survival. Perhaps, they take a look at Cube Tactics.
