This Week In Imports: Individual Rereleases Galore

Imports

This week, we see a continuation of the trend of individual rereleases of past games for more cost-conscious audiences. Last week, the Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes stories began to release individually on the Nintendo eShop, as well as some of the games from the Double Dragon & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle. For the latter, we have Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club: Soccer Edition, which was originally localized in the West as Nintendo World Cup. As such, this week’s imports generally focus on digital releases. Additionally, G-Mode continues releasing former phone games onto the Nintendo Switch as part of its G-Mode Archives collection. This week, we have Beach Volley Girl Shizuku, a mobile volleyball game and the final game out of the first wave lineup. As a reminder, Siliconera gets a small portion pocket change from your purchases from our Play-Asia links below. You can also save $3 by using the code “SILICON” by using the coupon button at the payment method selection screen.   Here are this week’s Japanese imports below: eShop Only (Switch) Double Dragon & Kunio-kun Retro Brawler Bundle: Nekketsu High School Dodgeball Club: Soccer Edition Jake Hunter Detective Story: Prism of Eyes ~Nazo no Jikenbo~ Joushi to Himitsu no 2LDK G-Mode Archives 04: Beach Volley Girl Shizuku Tennis Club Story
