This week’s two notable physical releases in Japan include the latest episode of Phantasy Star Online 2, while Experience is also releasing their horror game Spirit Hunter: NG on the Nintendo Switch. The latest Deluxe Package release is for Episode 6 and, while the game itself has been free-to-play from its launch, the Deluxe Package will give players lots of additional equipment, EXP, and physical goodies. For those just starting out, it can give them a bit of a head start when catching up with the game’s massive amount of content. (You could also play the Western launch.) Meanwhile, NG is the second game in the Spirit Hunter series, after Death Mark. It’s a point-and-click adventure title, and there are also “crisis choice” QTE segments where the player must make several correct key decisions under a time limit in order to succeed and have the protagonist survive.
