This Thursday marks a major date in Japan in the form of White Day, a day where love is shared back by those who received gifts on Valentine’s Day one month ago. Marking the date are game releases from every matter of genre, from open-world action, to RPGs, visual novels, and more. The most prominent release is One Piece: World Seeker, a game that lets you take control of Luffy on the newly-reached Jail Island where two factions are wresting over control of the island. Luffy will need to use and hone his abilities in order to explore further, and players are encouraged to approach goals any way they want. Other notable releases include Destiny Connect, an RPG by Nippon Ichi sporting an unorthodox artstyle and time travel as a theme. For those looking for love, Kadokawa Games’ Photo Kano and Reco Love spiritual successor LoveR comes out after a month’s delay, while Kenka Bancho Otome 2nd Rumble!! shares the love with the ladies as well. Blade Arcus Rebellion from Shining also releases, adding in characters from Shining Resonance as fighters. Finally, we’ll actually get to see how 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim plays when Aegis Rim Prologue drops this week.
