This week’s biggest Japanese releases are a bit unusual, given that they are both expansions to previous big game releases. This week marks the release of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, the latest new paid expansion that adds new classes like the gunblade-wielding Gunbreaker job, as well as lots more story content and dungeons to enjoy. Meanwhile, Attack on Titan 2 is getting a new expansion and standalone release titled Final Battle that includes content from Season 3 of the anime, as well as new weapons such as the Thunder Spear and Anti-Personnel ODM. Apart from this, there are a smattering of smaller games being ported, such as CLANNAD onto the Nintendo Switch, as well as smaller puzzle title Cubic. As a reminder, Siliconera gets a small portion pocket change from your purchases from our Play-Asia links below. You can also save $3 by using the code “SILICON” by using the coupon button at the payment method selection screen.
