This week sees the release of Yo-kai Watch 4‘s upgraded release, Yo-kai Watch 4++, in Japan for PS4 and Nintendo Switch. This version adds a new mode based on the Yo-kai Watch Busters subseries, two new areas, and a whole lot more Yo-kai compared to the original Yo-kai Watch 4‘s launch.
Onechanbara Origin also releases this week, taking the first two games of this cult classic that originated as part of the Simple 2000 series to the next level with completely overhauled graphics and artstyle, and a mysterious new character named Rei.
The final notable release this week is Star Ocean: First Departure R, a new release of the first Star Ocean based off the PlayStation Portable version. First Departure R also adds in speed options, new character art, and new voicework that you can swap between.
