This week on Xbox Live Arcade: Prince of Persia Classic

Sure it’s a new coat of paint on a classic, but that is almost enough reason alone to pick up Ubisoft’s post Sands of Time, Prince of Persia remake. Prince of Persia Classic brings the Prince back to his first trap filled adventure with a few twists like new enemies to keep retronauts on their toes. I like the announced achievements too. You get Gamerscore points for picking up the sword, a task anyone can do. Then for the hardcore there is an unlockable achievement for players that find all the potions without dying. That’s a real challenge since you have to enter trap heavy areas to pick up potions!

The other new feature is three online leaderboards that track the fastest players in normal mode with saves, time attack where you have to beat the game in under 60 minutes and survival mode where you have to beat under 60 minutes without dying. Prince of Persia Classic goes on sale Wednesday, June 13 for 800 Microsoft Points ($10).
