The 8th Maximus Cup theme has been announced. A Tetris 99 Luigi’s Mansion 3 collaboration event is upon us. People will be able to begin participating on October 25, 2019, and the event will end on October 29, 2019.
As usual, the reward for this event is a special theme. Over the weekend, a Luigi’s Mansion 3 theme, complete with matching sound effects, will be applied to everyone’s standard Tetris 99 games. If you earn 100 points during the event, it will be permanently added to your library.
To help people better appreciate this 8th Maximus Cup, Nintendo has shared a brief trailer showing the theme in action. Luigi appears on the left, while a King Boo shows up on the right.

Tetris 99 is available for the Nintendo Switch. Luigi’s Mansion 3 will make its debut on October 31, 2019 on the system.
