Tilt the table in Alien Crush Returns

Recommended Videos

Space Invaders: Get Even isn’t the only awesome looking WiiWare title coming to Japan this month. Alien Crush Returns is scheduled to come out in August too. I already love how Hudson implemented motion control to mimic tilting a real pinball machine. You can deal extra damage by shaking the remote towards a target, but it’s risky. Shaking too much can cause the table to freeze with a tilt error.

Speaking of the pinball there are different kinds of pinballs you can get access too. The Burst Ball dishes out bonus damage depending on its speed and the split ball can phase into two balls for a limited amount of time. Hudson plans on distributing additional action balls as downloadable content. Extra stages will be available too, but Hudson hasn’t announced how much they will cost. The base pack, with online multiplayer, costs 800 Wii Points ($8) in Japan.
