ToHeart Heads to Switch and PC in June

Visual Novel ToHeart will release for Nintendo Switch and PC on June 26, 2025. It will feature a new 3D opening, along with Event Scenes recreated in 3D. It is unclear if this updated version of ToHeart will release outside of Japan. [Thanks, ryokutya2089!]

Other new features include the option to switch between a windowed text display mode, and the more traditional style of visual novel user interface at any time. Additionally, it will have new voice acting from Kana Ichinose, Kakeru Hota, Saho Shirasu, and Shogo Sakata.

A total of three versions will be available to purchase. This includes a physical edition, which will cost 3,980 yen (or $26) a digital edition that will cost 3,080 (which is around $20) and a premium edition. The premium edition will total at 10,780 (or $72) and will come with a Blu-ray disc containing all 13 episodes of the 1999 ToHeart animated series.

In July 2024, the ToHeart remake was announced, with more information appearing in early November 2024. This included a prospective release window, along with the platforms it would appear on. This information appeared at the Aquaplus 30th anniversary event.

ToHeart will release for Nintendo Switch and PC, through Steam, on June 26, 2025.
