One of the curious titles in Sony Computer Entertainment’s lineup is a little game called Tokyo Jungle. PlayStation C.A.M.P. created a world where humans evacuated the Earth leaving animals behind to roam the streets of Tokyo. It’s a game of survival of the fittest with storylines like a Pomeranian dog searching for food.
For some awesome reason Tokyo Jungle has dinosaurs like a tyrannosaurs rex and, according to this week’s issue of Famitsu, a pterandon. Tokyo Jungle also lets players be a salmon (?!) and we finally have a solid release date for the title. Look for it on June 7.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe announced an English version way back in 2010. At least in PAL territories, Tokyo Jungle will be available on PlayStation Network.
