Too Many Losing Heroines, or Makeine, is a light novel series that focuses on a high school boy and the “loser heroines” around him. This is the term for girls who like someone already in a relationship or don’t have any interest in them. The light novel series started in 2021, and is still ongoing. Meanwhile, a manga adaptation of the series started in 2022. It is also ongoing. When the first season ended, the finale was an original episode that Takibi Amamori, the author of the light novel series, wrote. The second season will likely continue with the story from before this episode.

Too Many Losing Heroines season 2 is in production, with more information on it to appear later. Seven Seas licensed both the original light novel and the manga adaptation, and you can watch the first season on streaming services like Crunchyroll.
