Mackenzie, Cromwell, and Funghi are back for a brand new Touch Detective game. Touch Detective Rising 3: Does Funghi Dream of Bananas? also has Shiro, a rival who wants to be the best detective in the world. Of course, Shiro has a character that follows her around. Kinako, the dog-like character shown in Famitsu, is a professional detective assistant, but Kinako’s is kind of weak health-wise.
Touch Detective Rising 3 looks like the same style of game Touch Detective and Touch Detective 2 1/2. Players use the touch screen to move Mackenzie around and investigate. A new map has a Banana Ice stand and an elephant slide. Hmm… I wonder if that ties into the game’s subtitle.
Touch Detective Rising 3 is slated for release later this year on Nintendo 3DS.
