In this 15.5th installment, a new incident has occurred involving perfect possession. People are exploiting this, which is resulting in people’s minds and bodies are being taken over. However, Reimu is aware of the situation and is heading out to investigate.
At the moment, only a webpage is open for Touhou Hyoibana: Antinomy of Common Flowers. However, the description references Touhou Shinpiroku: Urban Legend in Limbo, noting the perfect possession is another example of an urban legend incident. Touhou Shinpiroku was a fighting game developed by Team Shanghai Alice and Twilight Frontier for the PC and PlayStation 4. It was the 14.5th entry in the Touhou series. Its characters will be returning for the 15.5th installment.
