Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle’s Launch Trailer Shows Off Its Bullet-Riddled Battles

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle has launched. This fighter is now available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita, for folks to fight as iconic Touhou characters. To prepare people for the game, a launch trailer goes over its battles to show what bullet hell looks like this time around.

Another Gensokyo incident is upon us! While waiting for people to make donations at her shrine, Reimu hears people talk about a rumor that she’s been colluding with an unsavory character. Seeing as how this could impact her donations and be a sign of a new incident, Reimu heads off in the campaign to fight other iconic Touhou heroines and learn what is going on. But, that’s only one storyline, as the Scenario Mode has stories for multiple heroines. People who want to play alone can also go through an Arcade Mode and Score Attack. When it comes to multiplayer, there are local and online options. The PlayStation 4 version also supports the PlayStation VR headset.

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle first appeared on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Japan in November 2016. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch versions are available digitally and physically, but the PlayStation Vita version is only available through the PlayStation Store.
