Good Smile Company and NextNinja are working together for a new smartphone project for the Touhou Project series, titled Touhou: Lost Word. Pre-registration is now live in Japan.
The above is a key visual by Rote Yumeno featuring Reimu Hakurei and Marisa Kirisame.The logo design is done by Tsuyoshi Kusano. According to producer Masayuki Yamagishi, many creators are participating in the new work and we’ll get announcements on it over at the game’s official Twitter account.
The producer also added that the game is being made as a new RPG that captures the Touhou Project as loved by fans around the world. Not much was shared other than the key visual and above artwork for Reimu and Marisa, but we can expect to hear more soon.
