Trails of Cold Steel II: Kai Will Have Connectivity Elements With III and I: Kai

While we know now that Trails of Cold Steel II: Kai is coming to PlayStation 4, dated for an April 26th release, additional details have emerged regarding the enhanced port.

 

The full title of the game is Trails of Cold Steel II: Kai –The Erebonian Civil War-. It improves the framerate to 60fps, and is compatible with 4K TVs. The new ‘High-Speed Skip’ button speeds up events and walking in fields by two times, and battles can be sped up to four times the usual speed.

 

The game also includes all 102 DLC items which were sold for the PS3/Vita versions, and they are all usable from the start of the game.

 

Finally, by reading Trails of Cold Steel III save data, players can unlock in-game outfits, max bonding points, 300,000 Mira, etc. New Game+ elements to use from the very beginning. These connectivity elements are also available through PS3/Vita save data from the original Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II, and the upcoming Trails of Cold Steel I: Kai –Thors Military Academy 1204-, which releases on March 8, 2018.
