The Trials of Mana Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC versions are here, and Square Enix is celebrating in multiple ways. The company has released the expected launch trailer, which is typical. However, it also has an offer with Funimation to provide people one month of access to the premium anime streaming service and new art from the game’s character designer, HACCAN.

First, let’s look at the launch trailer. The one minute video  begins with Duran as the hero. However, from there we get to see multiple characters fighting against evil and showing their strength as they attempt to save their world.

Next, HACCAN has created two pieces of art to celebrate the Trials of Mana launch. They also might call to mind Secret of Mana, which would make sense since the artist was the character designer for both of these remakes. (If the style looks familiar, he also worked on Avalon Code and provided art for Fire Emblem Heroes characters like Effie: Army of One and both Nephenees.)

Finally, there’s the Trials of Mana Funimation offer. This one was sent out via the email newsletter. People who enter the code “MANAFANS20” will get one free month of the service. (This normally costs $7.99.) If someone hasn’t subscribed to Funimation before, they will get the 14-day free trial on top of this additional 30-day period. This code will only be able to be used by people until April 26, 2020. It will also apply to an annual subscription if someone decides to go with that option and will provide the free month.

The Trials of Mana Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC versions are available worldwide, and you can read our first thoughts on it. Siliconera also talked to producers Shinichi Tatsuke and Masaru Oyamada about its development. You can play through the original game on the Super Famicom or in Collection of Mana on the Switch.
