Triggerheart Exelica has teeny tiny text

This article is over 16 years old and may contain outdated information

Planning to play Triggerheart Exelica on a standard definition TV? Get your magnifying glass. The brief sequences where Exelica talks through textboxes suffer the same problem as Dead Rising. Fortunately, the “story” in Triggerheart Exelica doesn’t detract from the focus of the game, which is swinging anchored enemy ships into a storm of bullets. On the plus side Triggerheart Exelica does have a vertical mode for the hardcore shmup crowd where the text is easier on the eyes. Kudos to Warashi for leaving a tate mode in there.
