SNK formally announced Trouble Witches Neo, an Xbox 360 version of the arcade game Trouble Witches. In addition to smoother graphics, Trouble Witches Neo has a brand new character. Introducing Sakurako, a medium who is a closet anime otaku.

Trouble Witches Neo is a horizontal shooter with a shop. Players can purchase weapons with gold earned from levels. You earn gold by invoking a magical circle, which turns enemy bullets into money. The Xbox 360 version includes online play, more specifically worldwide online play.

SNK is promoting Trouble Witches Neo with a magic circle clicking flash game. You can try it here. Trouble Witches Neo is slated for release this winter and it will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10). While it hasn’t been announced for North America at this time, the game has worldwide online play for a reason.
