Released late in the life cycle of the PsOne, Over My Dead Body became a cult hit in Japan. That’s probably due to the game’s unique concept, which has you lead a family to break a curse. A demon hexed your bloodline so people only live two years, but the gods had mercy and allowed this family to mate with them to create children with the hopes of one day defeating the demon.

Over My Dead Body is played in generations where you control demi-gods in turn based battles. While your characters don’t live very long, yo pass down weapons to your kids.

Curious? There’s a 302 MB demo of Over My Dead Body on the PlayStation Store. Play it and you can unlock Momoka (pictured) for the full game, which comes out for PSP on November 10 in Japan.
