Starfish, makers of the Monkey King shoot ’em ups for Wii, also have a dungeon RPG series. Elminage III: The Disciple of Darkness and the Solar Palace is the third game in the series.

This time Starfish created a day/night/weather system. Here’s a look at a desert area under different conditions.

Elminage III: The Disciple of Darkness and the Solar Palace also has the usual dungeon staples: castles, forests, and caves. Before you venture out players can create a party of six characters made out of different 12 races and 16 jobs. After you create intrepid warriors you can customize their appearance with the style load system. This lets players character portraits and status screen images for party members by loading images from a Memory Stick.

Elminage III: The Disciple of Darkness and the Solar Palace is slated for a spring 2011 release in Japan.
