image Part of Sega of America’s marketing strategy for Bayonetta is tying the game to a UFC match.

 

UFC 108: Evans vs. Silva is “presented by Bayonetta.” So, every time an announcer says the name of the match they mention Bayonetta too. In addition to shilling Bayonetta to UFC fans, Sega made a TV commercial for North America.

 

 

 

Compared to their other games, Sega is giving Bayonetta, a brand new series, star treatment. Good to see Sega pushing one of their key games instead of shoving into stores without warning. Oh, wait… apparently some places have Bayonetta in stock early.
