Ultra Street Fighter II’s FPS Mode Will Have You Shoryuken And Hadouken With Joy-Cons

We previously learned about Ultra Street Fighter II’s new first-person mode, and Capcom shared some more details on how it works as well as info on other original modes of the fighter in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine. [Thanks, Hachima.]

Here are details on the original modes:

• Gallery Mode: Contains illustrations from the art book, “Street Fighter Art Works: Ha – Supermacy”

• Color Edit: Freely change character graphics to your liking. You can then use the character with edited colors in online battles.

• Let Loose! Ha-Do-Ken: Control Ryu in a first-person view to take out Shadoloo Soldiers by using the Joy-Con controller in both hands to perform moves such as Hadouken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki Senpukyaku. You acquire growth points as you advance through the game, allowing you to power up Ryu. There’s also a mode to practice special attacks. And no, you won’t need to spin your legs around for the Tatsumaki, but it involves positioning of your hands and movement speed of your arms.

The development of Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is currently at 50% for Nintendo Switch.
