We might not see the Umamusume: Pretty Derby 7th Event: The Stage in Los Angeles concerts at the LA Peacock Theater as Cygames stated on the official site that the US entry visas for performers were not yet approved. The performances are supposed to be held in California between October 22-23, 2026. As a result, the company will announce at 10pm PT on October 19, 2026 (1pm ET on October 20, 2026) whether or not these can be held as scheduled.
The Umamusume: Pretty Derby 7th Event: The Stage in Los Angeles concerts were first announced back at the end of July 2026. The performances were set to be held at the Peacock Theater, with Cygames and the venue both announcing it. In the statement, Cygames said that it had been working to get the visas “since over six months ago, but as of now the visas have yet to be approved.” It also issued an apology for the situation.
This isn’t the only game performance affected by sudden issues with US visas. Kuro Games faced a similar situation with Wuthering Waves. The company announced on social media Tarokiki couldn’t attend and perform due to an “unforeseen complication” regarding the application. The concert was still held as planned on October 17, 2026, but she couldn’t attend and refunds were issued to folks who requested one as a result of the visa issue. As the Umamusume performances involve voice actors and singers from the game, it wouldn’t be possible for Cygames to find substitutes or replacements like Kuro did for the Tarokiki situation.
Umamusume: Pretty Derby is available on PCs and Android and iOS mobile devices, and we’ll learn the fate of the 7th Event: The Stage in Los Angeles concerts at the LA Peacock Theater at 10pm PT on October 19, 2026 (1pm ET on October 20, 2026).
