Cygames announced it will be making changes to the way Champions Meeting PVP events in the global version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby starting on May 31, 2026. The Champions Meeting: Gemini Cup will be the first one to involve new character Career Rank adjustments, reward increases, and title updates. However, before that happens, the gacha banners will update on April 30, 2026. That means Ines Fujin will appear as a three-star Umamusume Trainee and the Mr. CB SSR and Tokai Teio SR Support Cards will debut.
There are three major changes coming to Umamusume: Pretty Derby in the Champions Meeting: Taurus Cup next month. The first allows the Open League to accept characters whose Career Rank is A+ or lower. Previously, you could only have a max of B Rank. The rewards adjustments mean we’ll get more Monies and Support Points for every win and the titles will be easier to get. The final change means that, when an event reruns, if we get the same title again it will update to reflect that. Cygames’ example noted Taurus Cup Platinum would become Taurus Cup Platinum ★ if you earned it a second time.
As for the new gacha banners in Umamusume: Pretty Derby, Ines Fujin and the Mr. CB SSR aren’t too exciting. Fujin is a new Front Runner who runs Mile and Medium Turf faces. Some of her more notable abilities are her Potential Skills Restless, Speed Eater, and Wild Wind and velocity-increasing Unique Skill All Charged! It’s Go Time. Meanwhile, Mr. CB is a Wit Support Card best for End Closers, due to it having the Daring Strike velocity skill for those racers, and it does have Specialty Priority as a Support Effect.
Here are the official infographics for those new additions.

Umamusume: Pretty Derby is available on PCs and mobile devices worldwide, and the global version Champions Meeting PVP changes will take effect during the Gemini Cup when that starts on May 31, 2026. Ines Fujin and the SSR Mr. CB card appear today and join the general gacha pool after their banners end.
