People in the Americas who pick up an early copy of Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth will get a bonus item with their order. The launch edition will include a double-sided pillowcase and slip-case box. People who pre-order or purchase the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita game when it is released will get the bonuses.
The Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth pillowcase is designed to fit a standard-sized pillow. On one side, people will see Uruuru. On the opposite is her twin sister, Saraana. These two characters are magic-wielding priestesses who join Haku on his journey after he aids Anju.
In addition to the launch copy promotion, Atlus has released a new Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth trailer. Battles carry a bit more meaning in this installment, which means there have been some adjustments to the system. The level cap has been raised, there are Extended Action Chains, and Co-Op Chain and Final attacks can be used. There will also be Red vs. White and Munechika’s Trials modes that allow people the opportunity to fight in even more battles and build up characters.
Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth will be available on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in the Americas and Europe on September 5, 2017.
