Utawarerumono Spinoff Dokapon UP! Gets its First Trailer

Aquaplus and Sting released the first trailer for the upcoming Utawarerumono and Dokapon collaboration title, Dokapon UP! Roulette of Dreams (Mugen no Roulette in Japanese).

The Dokapon series is known for its hybrid boardgame and RPG style gameplay and we’ll see it with an Utawarerumono theme in Dokapon UP! Roulette of Dreams. In addition to playable Utawarerumono characters,  you’ll see several other characters from the series in the story. Story Mode is a single-player mode with an original story. In this mode, you’ll take on a variety of stages and objectives to progress through the story.

Additionally, the game offers multiplayer for up to four players in offline and online matches. You can also play with CPU opponents and change game settings to your preference. The gameplay has RPG elements including leveling up, stats, and abilities used in battle. The characters come with their own unique skills as well.

Dokapon UP! Roulette of Dreams will release in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on December 10, 2020. A Premium Edition version will be available in Japan for 8,300 yen that includes an art book, acrylic keychains, soundtrack, additional DLC character, all in a special package.
