Aquaplus shared more on their upcoming tactical RPG, Utawarerumono: The Two Hakuoro, in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, where it was revealed that Anju will be playable. [Thanks, Hachima.]

Anju (CV: Chinatsu Akasaki) appeared in the previous game and she’ll appear back to health in the next game and will also participate in battles. The adventure parts will show that she’s recovered from the poison and you’ll get to speak to her, and also play as her in battle.

Those with save data from the previous game, Utawarerumono: The False Faces, will get useful items as a bonus. We’ll learn more about it in the future.

The game will also introduce a new system called “Cooperation Special Attacks.” This is an ability that becomes available after getting to a certain part in the game’s story and meeting certain requirements. The ability lets you have certain characters tag team to pull off a special attack for massive damage.

Utawarerumono: The Two Hakuoro will release in Japan on September 21, 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.
