Utawarerumono Zan Demo Will Be Released Outside Of Japan

Utawarerumono: Zan, the Musou-style version of Utawarerumono that will give people a chance to go through Haku’s story in a more active way, will allow people to try it before they buy it. An NIS America representative told Twinfinite at gamescom 2019 that a demo for the game will be released outside of Japan. As a reminder, the original Utawarerumono titles, like the Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception and Mask of Truth games available worldwide now, are visual novels with occasional turn-based, strategic battles appearing at pivotal moments.

The Utawarerumono: Zan demo has been available through the Japanese PlayStation Store for quite some time. After the game’s September 2018 launch in Japan, Aquaplus and Tamsoft ended up releasing a trial version in December 2018. It is a 1.28GB download. NIS America did not note if the demo will be released before or after the game’s launch in other regions.

Utawarerumono: Zan will come to the PlayStation 4 in North America on September 10, 2019 and in Europe on September 13, 2019.
