It’s been revealed through a little slip from publisher Koch Media France that Aquaplus’ action RPG, Utawarerumono: Zan, will be headed Westward this fall for PlayStation 4.
The reveal was made from Koch Media France’s now-deleted tweet along with a trailer from the publisher. Since Koch Media handles NIS America’s games in France, we can expect an announcement from NIS America for the game in North America.
The video also comes with the following message in French: “NIS America is happy to announce today that Utawarerumono: Zan will be available for PlayStation 4 in Europe this autumn.”
As for Utawarerumono: Zan, it is an action RPG, the first of the Utawarerumono series, and it was developed by Tamsoft. The game will have you put together parties of four characters that you’ll get to switch between while taking out enemies on the battlefield. The selection of playable characters increases as you advance through the game. The game also features four-player online co-op.
Utawarerumono: Zan releases for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in Fall 2019. The game is available in Japan for PS4.
