First, Vaan’s English voice actor said he reprised his role as the Final Fantasy XII lead and recorded new work for Square Enix. Now, Vaan’s Japanese voice actor, Kouhei Takeda, is saying the same thing. Takeda wrote about it on his blog, but pulled the quote about Vaan.

Not fast enough though, because game blog Teiten Kansoku copied and pasted Takeda’s original post. The missing line reads, "Hey, Square Enix-san. Is that work with Vaan going to appear? I’m waiting (lol)"
Widespread speculation is Vaan will appear as a character in Dissidia 012[duodecim]: Final Fantasy. The PSP game is slated for spring in Japan and a 2011 release in North America.
