Due to the accelerated schedule in the global version of Umamusume: Pretty Derby, holidays don’t always line up, but the first Valentine’s Day Trainee character and Support Card banners came pretty close. On February 18, 2026, the alts for Eishin Flash and Mihono Bourbon join the game, as do the themed SSR cards featuring Nishino Flower and Sakura Bakushin O. Those will debut alongside The Peak of Confection Story Event today.
As is common with these three-star alts of Eishin Flash and Mihono Bourbon, they aren’t too different from their typical versions. The outfits, movesets, growth rates, and unique skills feature the biggest changes. Eishin Flash is still a Turf racer for Medium and Long races that is best as a Late Surger. Her new unique is Guten Appetit, to increase velocity, but you need to pass three times on the final corner or later to trigger it. She also has Late Surger Corners and Dominator as potential skills. Meanwhile, Mihono Bourbon is still a Front Runner for Turf Medium races, though it’d be easy to boost her potential for Sprint, Mile, and Long races as well due to them being at C or higher. Her Operation Cacao skill trigger is easily met, since she needs to be at the front and have another runner coming up behind on a corner mid-race. Her potential skills include Concentration, Escape Artist, and Front Runner Savvy.
In terms of the new cards, the Sakura Bakushin O Guts card Super! Sonic! Flower Power! might offer more utility. That’s due to the Hint Frequency and Levels boosts and the fact she has the upgraded Sprint skill In High Spirits. The Wit Nishino Flower card Little Cupcakes, Big Emotions’ Determined Descent Pace Chaser skill is rather specialized, due to it only kicking in on downhills, even though she does have Specialty Priority, Hint Levels, and Hint Frequency effects.
Here are all the official infographics showing what to expect from the new Trainees and Support Cards.
